It has been another successful year for Newry TradFest which took place over St. Patrick’s Weekend. Newry City was awash with Traditional music over a 3 day period to coincide with the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. 21 venues hosted many talented Trad musicians with one manager saying “This Year’s TradFest has been fantastic and it created a lively atmosphere across the City”. TradFest attracts many trad lovers to the area and creates a cultural and vibrant atmosphere all weekend long. Newry BID perceive TradFest as a perfect addition to the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations that benefits local businesses and profiles Newry as the place to be on St. Patrick’s Day. Newry BID are committed to make this festival even bigger and better again next year.
