Apprenticeships – Supporting the Future of the Workplace
Following on from Apprenticeship Week and Southern Regional College’s successful Big Apprenticeship Event, the move towards encouraging employers to consider apprenticeships is continuing.
The Recruitment of New Apprentices Scheme is open to all employers to support the recruitment of new apprentices. As an employer, you will be eligible for up to £3,000 for each new apprenticeship opportunity created from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2022. Further details about this scheme are available here:

Belfast Region City Deal partners are also supporting this drive with a series of webinars for employers, funded by the Department for the Economy’s Apprenticeship Challenge Fund.
