Newry BID facilitated a very informative session at Custom House Newry aimed at helping businesses respond effectively and sensitively with on street begging issues.

Newry BID has commissioned and launched a series of videos to help businesses and shoppers respond effectively to on street begging.

The four ‘Beg To Differ’ infomercials, which have been circulated online, look at the sensitive issue of begging in Newry city centre and offer guidance on how to help without contributing to the problem.

The videos were produced in partnership with PCSP and PSNI and encourage shoppers to give to charities, not individuals.
