Buttercrane Welcomes Back Customers

Buttercrane Shopping Centre is welcoming customers back safely with a host of new measures to ensure confidence following months of store closures. The Centre has embarked on a rolling programme of opening as retailers unroll the shutters following government guidelines for non- essential stores to begin trading again. Centre Manager Peter Murray says they’ve missed their customers and retailers are very glad to get back to some version of normal trading. “As a Centre we’ve invested significantly in staff training, equipment and repurposed staff to support an enhanced cleaning. All high frequency touch points get regular attention – from the toilets, to ticket machines and external parking barriers. Hygiene stations are located at all entrance and exit points throughout the centre and at lift areas. “We’ve adopted a one way system on mall which is clearly signed throughout and we’d ask people to adhere to the social distancing guidelines, in lifts, on mall and to give way on the stairs to those descending. “Buttercrane has taken all possible steps to ensure the confidence of shoppers returning to Buttercrane as a safe place to visit. “We’d appeal to everyone visiting to do their part – be polite, courteous and patient. “Queues may be likely as stores will have to restrict the number of people in at any one time. Staff may be operating on reduced numbers to enable social distancing guidelines, so we’d appreciate your understanding.” “To assist with queries we have additional, highly visible customer service advisors on mall to advise and support customers,” Peter concludes, “and we look forward to welcoming you back to Buttercrane.” The Centre is trading Monday to Friday, 9-5.30pm and Saturday 9-6pm and Sunday 1-6pm to with no late night opening planned for the coming weeks. Individual retailers may differ, so check Buttercrane social channels for updates.
