Local Policing Team have informed Newry BID that fake 50 pound notes are in circulation.
Newry BID are warning retailers and shoppers to be extra vigilant over reports of counterfeit £50 bank notes in circulation over the past number of days. Please take time to check notes carefully before accepting them. If you inadvertently receive a note that you believe to be counterfeit please contact: Ardmore Police Station on 101.
