Newry Business Improvement District (BID) joined the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and firmus energy in launching the newly named firmus energy Newry City Festival of Water. The festival takes place on Sunday, 27^th of August with its main event – the firmus energy triathlon kicking the event off on Sunday morning.

The lead partner in this year’s event is the Newry Business Improvement District (BID), which is a local, democratically elected organisation aimed at delivering projects, which will improve the local trading environment of the City. Newry Triathlon Club will be on hand to organise Sunday’s main event, the firmus energy triathlon, regarded as the fastest sprint triathlon in Ireland.
