Step back in time and discover what life in the Castle would have been like in the 16th century for the Bagenal family and their household on 29 May at 12.30pm – 1.30pm .

A maid will escort you through the castle informing you throughout of the functions of each room and the norms of 16th century society. She will lead you to the Banqueting Room in the Castle where you will learn more about medieval remedies and cures, so I hope you won’t be sick!

This will be a chance for families to visit the museum and discover how Bagenal’s Castle would have functioned 400 years ago.

Suitable for children aged 6 upwards. There is no cost but numbers are limited to 20 and pre booking of places is advisable. An adult must accompany children.
