Short mapathon session to help map Newry on OpenStreetMaps. There are many benefits of OpenStreetMap and we want to accurately map Newry. No skills are required as demonstrations will be provided. If you have a laptop bring it along.

The venue has been kindly provided by The Hub co-working space. We invite teens and adults to make map improvements for Newry to improve coverage, help future planning, school projects, risk assessment and energy management.

Training will be provided at the event so attendees will be able to independently make future improvements to OpenStreetMap.

The only pre-requisite is the ability to use a computer. Mapping will be web-based so no specialist software is required. Bring your own laptop if available but we will have a small number of laptops available at the event.
