PRESENTS A UNIQUE PIECE OF CINEMATIC HISTORY WITH A LIVE PIANO SCORE

Experience a special screening of the 1928 silent film, “Dawn”,

the story of World War One martyr Edith Cavell, a nurse executed

by firing squad for rescuing prisoners of war from the Germans.

She was aided by Madame Ada Bodart (née Doherty), from

William Street, Newry, who plays the role of herself in the film.

The film will be accompanied by the pianist Darius Battiwalla, music director of the Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus and regular pianist with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
