You will have undoubtedly heard about the greater Newry area featuring prominently on the Covid infections league table. This is a matter of serious concern both from a public health perspective and given the increased livelihood of the introduction of further restrictions which would undoubtedly harm our local economy.

We strongly urge our members and the wider community to adhere to the guidelines to help stop the spread of Covid, to help save lives and to protect local jobs.

Follow the public health advice, wash your hands frequently and thoroughly, wear a mask when in public spaces like shops and don’t mix with people from other households in your home.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, please stay at home and get a test.
