The application portal for £25K grants is now open (see link below).
Please note that the £25K Grant Portal has crashed a few times this morning with demand but will come back on line after a while so keep trying.

We are in regular contact with the scheme administrators and will make representations on your behalf if you feel you should be on the scheme but fall through the cracks.
You will need your Rate Payer ID and Occupancy ID to submit a claim.

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme is also open!
A calculator has been provided as well as web chat and helpline – details at: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/hm-revenue-customs/contact/coronavirus-covid-19-helpline

If you have less than 100 employees details need to be input per employee. Over 100 employees you need to upload a file. To claim, you will need:

  • your ePAYE reference number
  • the number of employees being furloughed
  • the claim period (start and end date) amount claimed (per the minimum length of furloughing of 3 weeks)
  • your bank account number and sort code
  • your contact name and phone number

NOTE: You can back date claims until 1st March, and employees who were on the payroll from up to 19th March are eligible (assuming HMRC had received an RTI submission on or before 19th March)

NOTE: The scheme has been extended until 30th June 2020

Newry BID will continue to send out updates as they become available.
