On 20th February 2006 the Southern Area Hospice Services relocated its Newry Hospice Shop to Monaghan Street, Newry. After nine superb years at Cornmarket, this move provided a quantum leap in the retail access, practicability, space, service and support offered to customers. The new modern premises doubles the former capacity held in the Cornmarket building and will help the hospice to meet demand, as well as effectively displaying more of the donated clothing and bric-a-brac. The new shop’s spacious, vibrant and attractive layout and positive store environment creates an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers and pleasant working experience for volunteers.
