Timoney’s has been open for over 80 years, but was bought by the Fitzpatricks in 1976. Ever since, it has been a family affair with both daughters & son working and continuing the business into the future.
Aswell as our famous vanilla ice cream, the Newry shop sells sweets, drinks & the ever popular Timoney’s milkshakes. The milkshakes come in a range of flavours & definitely hit the spot!
We opened our Warrenpoint store in March 2012. It is located inside the doors of yet another family owned business Friar Tucks
The walls behind both shop counters are filled with jar after jar of old school confectionery. There are so many to chose from & these are still sold in quarters, therefore keeping an old tradition alive.
