The Business
WineFlair was first established in 1970 and consisted of two off-licences – one in Carrickfergus and one in Belfast. The company was taken over by the current owners in August 2000 and has continued to expand ever since.
In subsequent years, WineFlair has seen a lot of change and expansion. WineFlair diversified into the convenience food sector and today WineFlair is proud to work with Spar and Vivo in a number of combined stores, offering customers their convenience groceries and off sales under one roof. In June 2015 WineFlair bought over Curley’s Wine Cellars. We currently have fifty six stores and employ over three hundred people throughout our stores, Head Office and Warehouse.
Our stores
At WineFlair we offer an extensive range of beer, cider, wine, alcopops and spirits in each of our stores. All stores have large fridges where customers are guaranteed to find a great selection of chilled drinks. We work closely with suppliers and listen to staff and consumer feedback to ensure we meet the needs of our customers. Check out our great range and monthly promotions on this website or call into your local WineFlair where our friendly staff will be more than happy to help you
Alcohol Responsibility
At WineFlair we promote responsible drinking. All WineFlair employees are trained in the Challenge 21 policy – a strict policy that requires anyone wishing to make a purchase in a WineFlair store who looks younger than 21 to show a form of photo identification. WineFlair only accepts a valid passport or Driving Licence. Without this ID, the customer will not be served in WineFlair.
WineFlair display Challenge 21 notices in all shops and staff members wear Challenge 21 badges to further endorse this policy.
