Midnight Ulsterbus Goldline Departures from Belfast to Newry

Translink has announced midnight departures from Belfast to Newry on Friday and Saturday nights, starting Friday 6th September 2019.

The Goldline 238 services will operate from Belfast’s Europa Buscentre to Newry Buscentre, via Hillsborough, Dromore, Banbridge, Loughbrickland and Sheepbridge Park and Ride.

Ulsterbus Newry Service Delivery Manager Greg McLaughlin said: “Our 238 Newry to Belfast timetable operates frequently throughout the day, with services every 15 minutes at peak times and half hourly off-peak.

“We have listened to feedback from our customers who had asked about late night services from Belfast to Newry. These new midnight departures from Belfast will operate on Friday and Saturday nights, enhancing our 238 timetable, from Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September.”

“Midnight departures will allow greater flexibility for those socialising in Belfast and travelling the route to Newry late at night. We are seeing more #smartmovers enjoying our services, saving money and time; and relaxing on board,” he added.
