Newry BID recently held two events in Canal Court Hotel and Spa for our members to engage them in creating a vision for Newry City Centre. With over 90 attendees across the two sessions, Newry BID were delighted to welcome members from numerous sectors.

The events were facilitated by University of Ulster through their Engage program. This real time engagement session used technology to show real time results from the discussions. The discussions included:

  • What challenges does Newry City Centre face in 2018?
  • What will make Newry City Centre a better place?
  • What can BID do to make our vision a reality?

From these discussions attendees then ranked their top 3 in each area. These priorities now allow Newry BID to move forward on key areas for the next 2.5 years of our term.

The report from these sessions will be available shortly for attendees and members. For any further information on what Newry BID can do for you as a member, please contact admin@newry.com
