Newry Business Improvement District (BID) were delighted to organise TradFest again this year and promote Newry City over three days.

Running from March 14th– 16th the sessions were widespread across the city including both day and night time slots.

Many Trad musicians played in multiple venues entertaining audiences over the weekend creating a cultural and vibrant atmosphere in many bars and restaurants.

As an addition to this year’s TradFest, Newry BID facilitated Irish dancers at Marcus square, Hill Street to entertain passers-by.

Newry BID believe TradFest is a perfect addition to the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, with the previous events being such a success Newry BID are committed to making this an annual festival that benefits local businesses and profiles Newry as a place to be on St. Patrick’s Day.
