Newry BID were delighted to come on board as the lead partner at this year’s Newry City Triathlon and Festival of Water. Taking place on Sunday August 27th, along The Albert Basin, it was a great day out for both the athletes and their supporters who had come far and wide to be in Newry for the event.

Finbar McGrady was the overall winner on the day, for the second year running, with many of the triathletes getting PBs on the day!

As the race was happening the crowds were available to enjoy the Festival of Water which included lots of fun activities such as, water zorbing, street performers, face painting and climbing wall.

Special thanks to all those who helped make the day such a success including Newry Triathlon Club, Synge and Byrne, PSNI, Fire and Rescue Service and many more.
