The excitement of Christmas is in the air, and some of Newry’s City Centre businesses have gone all out this festive season with some magical window displays!

Newry BID decided to create some friendly competition and organise a Window Dressing Competition with their members. The competition was very tough with many local businesses creating magical scenes to attract customers into their very own Winter Wonderland.
Newry BID had an independent judge visit all stores and make their decision based on the theme, promoting their product and overall look of the display. They had to make the very tough decision to place the top 3 which were:

  • 1st Place – Clanrye Lighting
  • 2nd Place – George Preston Florist
  • 3rd Place – St. Vincent de Paul

Newry BID were delighted to see the involvement from their members to help showcase Newry in it’s best light, working inline with their theme of Improving how Newry Looks.
The standard of entries was excellent and we congratulate everyone!
