Newry has gone bats this Halloween, with some of the city centre businesses getting into the spooky season with some Spooktacular window displays!

Newry BID decided to create some friendly competition and organise a Halloween Window Dressing Competition with all their members. The competition was very tough with many local businesses creating spooky scenes to attract customers into their premises. Newry BID had an independent judge visit all participating businesses and make their decision based on the theme, promoting their product and overall look of the display. They had to make a tough decision to place the overall winner which was Nan Rices Bar, Francis Street.

Newry BID were delighted to see the involvement from their members to help showcase Newry and working inline with their theme of improving how Newry looks. Congratulations to Nan Rices!
