Dear Members,

The Open University, in partnership with the Department for the Economy, are currently offering fully-funded places on our short courses for anyone whose employment has been affected by the pandemic.

These short courses are university-level online programs designed to help build professional skills, enabling learners to rapidly develop new skills and techniques that they can immediately apply or take back to their workplace or business. They also make great additions to a CV or portfolio.

Places are being offered across eight business subject areas:

  • Project management
  • Coaching
  • Managing change
  • New managers’ toolkit
  • Developing a strategic view
  • Develop your leadership style
  • Finance for non-financial managers
  • Commercial awareness

The deadline for applications is 19 May at 16:00.

The organisers want to support as many as possible who have been impacted by the pandemic to upskill or re-power their business.

You will find all relevant details via the link in the first paragraph.

Kind regards,
Newry BID
